Anna found it to be sturdy and secure when affixed to her bed, with the legs securely clicking into place and the zips secure for baby-safety. It took her about 10 minutes to put together and didn't require tools, with clear instructions and a video as well as a customer support contact number should you encounter any problems.

Our testers loved the easy access to the side panel that can be lowered and raised with just one push of a button. This was particularly helpful during nighttime feedings as they could reach in and pick their baby up without disturbing them.
It is possible to lower the side panel it's own, however this is not recommended, as it increases the risk that your child could be thrown out of the cot. However, the safety locking mechanism means that it can only remain in place when it is attached to the parent's bed correctly. This feature is fantastic for peace of mind if you are breastfeeding and need frequent night feeds.
Telescopic legs enable the Chicco Next2Me Magic to be used with any bed, such as divan bases and beds with drawers. It comes with a tilting function for reflux babies, and an option to rock to calm them after a feeding. It's also incredibly large and has excellent ventilation thanks to its mesh sides.
Our testers found the Next2Me Magic easy to set up and use, however it comes with lengthy instructions. It's a bit heavier than other side-sleepers however, it is easily moved from one place to another. It's also able to fold into a bag for travel, which is ideal for those who want to transport it. The only issue our testers have found is that the side panel did not stretch as much as other models. This caused it to be a bit more difficult to see your baby from your bed.
